By using liber you agree to these terms. liber is an email client you run yourself; it connects to email accounts that belong to you.

What liber is

liber is a client application for accessing your own email accounts. It is not an email provider and does not host mailboxes. You are responsible for the email accounts you connect and for complying with the terms of the providers (such as Google or your IMAP host) that operate them.

Acceptable use

Use liber only with accounts you are authorized to access, and only for lawful purposes. Do not use liber to send unsolicited bulk mail, to abuse the relay, or to attempt to access mail or systems that are not yours.

No warranty

liber is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. liber is software for accessing your mail; it is not a backup service, and you should not rely on it as your only copy of important data.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, liber and its authors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the software.

Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of liber after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
